About

Engineering with a manager's perspective

I'm a business administrator with postgraduate degrees in project management and finance who moved into software. I learned web development with Python, where I work with IoT devices and integrations across different brands, and I now develop custom software with Ruby on Rails.

My goal is to create software that solves real problems and delivers value to its users. I bring the same mindset to every project: understand the need, plan the work, ship, and keep improving.

I currently work with one of the leading higher-education institutions in Colombia, and I care about helping people build their life projects through education.

Expertise

Where I add value

Three areas that work together: building the product, connecting it to the physical world, and leading the work to a result.

01

Custom software

Software developed to measure for each business: maintainable, convention-driven applications with Ruby on Rails, backed by PostgreSQL.

02

IoT & integrations

I connect devices and platforms from different brands, bringing their data into the applications people actually use.

  • GPS / geolocation
  • Multi-brand devices
  • Python
  • Integrations
03

Project leadership

Scoping, planning, budgeting and coordinating people to deliver, supported by postgraduate training in project management and finance.

Education · People · Purpose

Technology creates tools. People give them purpose.

I believe education is much more than transferring knowledge: it is creating opportunities, building confidence and helping people see what they are capable of achieving. Every learning space is also an opportunity to listen, guide and grow together.

My experience managing people and coordinating teams has taught me that meaningful results begin with understanding people. It takes empathy to recognize different strengths, clarity to bring everyone around a shared goal, and commitment to help each person move forward.

“Good leadership is not measured only by what a team achieves, but also by how people grow along the way.”
A people-first approach to leadership and learning.

Leadership & management

Projects that get delivered

Technical depth is only half of a successful project. I combine it with the planning, financial discipline and communication needed to take work from idea to result.

  1. 1

    Understand

Clarify the problem, the users and the business goal before writing code.

  2. 2

    Plan

Define scope, priorities, budget and risks so everyone shares the same picture.

  3. 3

    Deliver

Coordinate the team, ship in iterations and keep stakeholders informed.

  4. 4

    Improve

Measure results, learn from them and feed that back into the next cycle.
